Rafael Taboryski

Biography:

Rafael Taboryski is Associate Professor and group leader at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).  Professor Taboryski is an expert in micro- and nanofabrication of functional surfaces with enhanced wetting and optical properties, and of microfluidic lab-on-chip devices for biomedical applications. He received his PhD in physics from University of Copenhagen and was postdoc at University of Cambridge. He has worked several years in industry, where he headed the development of a microfluidic chip for drug screening (now fully commercialized by Sophion Bioscience). He has co-authored more than 100 scientific papers and 16 patent applications (6 granted).
